It started in 1982……
I can still recall being perplexed by this thing that my dad had bought. It unlocked a new world and mesmerized me for hours on end.
At first the interface we had was a tape drive….eish! A little later we got a floppy disk ( disk drive) and one managed to save your code and documents a bit quicker but space always seemed to be an issue until we discovered we could innovate! All that was required was a pair of scissors and a single sided disk was turned into a double sided disk at a fraction of the cost! Thank you Dad for opening up a new world, one that became a passion that has span since 82 through to 2012 (and hopefully beyond…)
